Life is in Bloom

Ok I will admit, I am a paperaholic and when I cleaned out one of my cabinets this past weekend I found more note pads than the store carries at one time....Throw them away? are you joking!!! So I began designing some notebook covers and will begin using them for gifts soon. This one I decided to just use a piece of the paper from the pad itself to stamp the word "Life is in Bloom" from the stamp PrintWorksCollection.com and then choose SU paper to coordinate. The black flower paper is from Target....and the note pad is a Michaels $1 pad.

With Sympathy

Here is my card and the inspiration for this card is the card below. I used the SU texture plate for the dots. With Sympathy from Hobby Lobby and the leaves are the SU Sizzlites Little Leaves and the butterfly is from Flight of the Butterfly SU set.

Friends!!!!

While I am putting Connies order into the computer, she stays busy by filing the left over scraps of paper I have not gotten put away. Don't tell her, but those scraps go all the way back to Christmas.....How many of you have great friends and customers who will do your filing!!! thanks again Connie, helped me out a load!!!

Grad Gift Tag

I wanted this to be a gift tag rather than a card, so I took two circle scallops and one I cut in half to form the pocket, then I used the students name card to slide in the pocket with my message on the back.

Wedding Card

This wedding card could be made to fit any wedding theme just by adding the brides colors to the inside of the flowers or the base of the card made in one of her colors. I would have used textured black cardstock, but I was out.

Wonderful Friend Birthday

I thought this was a fun birthday card. I think I am stuck in graduation colors, so do you do that? I will start something fun for June after everything settles down. And you will get to see something other than graduation gifts....Enjoy!

Graduation Favors

These are the graduation favors we will give out at our daughters graduation party. I printed the words on paper and stamped stars randomly and added the tags. Then we rolled them around Sweet tart rolls and Mentos. I got this idea from Monica Weaver and thought they were simple and fun.

Texas Star

Fridays we have birthday lunch/movie dates with all the girlfriends. This week I am busy with graduation tasks, but I sent my card anyway. Our friend from Texas is having a birthday this month and she sports "Texas Star" on her license plates, so I decided to make her card reflect that.....

Not a Big Shot Graduation

Surprise, I didn't use the Big Shot die cut on this one. This is the finished card and the one below was the card before I added the graduation cap and diploma....details do matter....

Teacher Gifts

Mallory wanted teacher gifts to give out on her last day of her Senior year. So I made these post it note holders and from what she says "they loved them"....thanks teachers for putting up with these teenagers...

Graduation Card West High Bears

This grad card is actually for my daughter, however it is coming from a neighbor who knows better than to buy a "store graduation card" when I make cards and gifts myself. Good choice on her part and Brit will love it.....right?

Senior High Thank You's

Our daughter's best friend since they were 12 months old, goes to the 'other' school in our city and she is also giving gifts and cards to her teachers as thank you's. These are the cards she is using and the gifts I have yet to finish, but they are pretty cute too.

Thank You Note

A thank you note for a friend, and yes you can see I used these same notes with the die cut that I used in the other tags....Find something that works and run with it. That is what makes it work when your busy.

Wedding Season as well as Graduation

This is for a bride and groom with a wedding this weekend and these are her colors. I made this card for a neighbor and she gave me the paper to match my card stock to.....The Big Shot is a must I am telling you, I am using it a lot!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to ME

Sorry this is so late to post, but I think it is still worth sharing. This is a gift I got from a very wonderful friend for Mother's Day. It is so me!!!!! I can't even take it apart yet cause it is so cute as it is, so I will leave it like this to admire for a few more days.

Teacher Thank You's

These are a couple teacher thank you cards that our daughter is giving to her favorite teachers as she graduates high school and moves on to a new journey in her life. I just printed the words on my computer and the rest is just a blank card to write on the inside.

West High Graduation Gift Card

Hello.....is everyone busy with graduation ideas? Here is a gift card holder with a belly band I made for one of the many grad parties we are attending. I should have slipped the gift card in so you could actually see it, but I was in a hurry to get these photos taken and get them loaded. Anyway, you would just slide it in the pocket under the word congratulations. More ideas to post, so tune in the days ahead.

Graduation Gifts

These are the graduation gift bags Brit and I put together for her friends. They are filled with things the girls may forget to take to college with them. The gift bags are from the $1 Target spot and I think they are pretty cute.

Happy Anniversary

I needed a Anniversary card.....something simple but elegant, so I used going gray and white and embellished it with rhinestones and gray ribbon. Of course the flowers are from the Big Shot die cut, and the background is a Cuttlebug embossing plate of raised dots.
