This was my Mother's Day gift to my mom. The box had a pair of reading glasses and the notebook is just a composotion notebook covered with paper to match and embellished.
Welcome to my blog. This is where I share my love for stamping and paper crafts.

Happy Mother's Day from Becky
This is so sweet and you can't see the details but it is adorable. It is a wallet with 4 pockets and the closure is with a magnet. It had the Happy Mother's Day in one of the pockets and the coffee cup in another on one side and on the other side was a hand written note and a Starbucks gift card. The details are so cool. Click on the photo to make it large and look at the glitter and cutting she did!!! Becky, you are great and I appreciate your friendship and talent....Thanks lady!!!

Graduation Purse of Memories
This is a graduation purse I made from Becky's purse of photos she sent me. I thought it would make a great graduation Keepsake and I just used the Graduation announcement and cut it apart to fit where I needed it. The extra pieces are for friends to sign and the name box is also an envelope for a money gift or other name cards

Mother's Day
Along with graduation comes Mother's Day. I am getting a late start with the Open Houses and building, but this is for my husbands mom. I will get it in the mail today so that it is not late. I have not mounted "Priceless" yet, so today bits and pieces got taken care of and I love these round cards Becky sent me, makes it a little unique.Sunday, May 4, 2008

Pretty in Pink

Becky has 2 boys, so pink is really not in her color scheme....However, I thought a little "hot" pink would be good and of course some black and white!!!!! What else goes better with pink.... This is one of those Target $1 spot specials BUT you know how they sneak in the $2.50 ones, well this fell into that category. But all and all it turned out cute. The flower is from a Hostess set in the Spring catalog.

Red and White Polka Dots

This was a package I put in the mail to Becky this past week. She mailed me something similar, so I duplicated it and sent it back to her. And it was so fun to do. So it included the photo "suitcase", photo jumbo paper clip, a pencil and a vase with red daisies and a thank you card. It looked pretty cute sitting here and several people wanted it while I was getting it finished to mail to her.

A Good Friend
Happy Birthday Notebooks

These are for a friend with a birthday this month. Its a "no gift" lunch, but how can I resist. These notebooks come through once again. This one I also added the post notes on the inside cover. Also thought they would make good graduation additions with a gift pocket added and some $$$$. What grad can remember everything with a note?

Black and White Surprise

Maybe this should be called...."Its all about Brit".....Today, yet another package arrived from my dear friend in Idaho. I was so excited to get it open. On the top was a beautiful card, you can see it on her blog (inkingidaho.blogspot.com). It is round with flowers, very pretty. Anyway, peeling away the layers was this wonderful frame, zebra binder clips (of course I loved them), little plastic jars that stack, magnet snaps, and two catalogs. I wish I got this kind of mail everyday. It was all very thoughtful and I adore it! Can't wait to get something made with the magnets and send it off to her. Thanks for the fun Becky. Ps. This is so much prettier in real life....the black has pattern and depth and details that you dont see. Double click and make it bigger to get a real look....
Initial Notebooks

This is an order for a friend of mine. She asked if I would make these notebooks "cute" to send to each of her daughters and grand daughters. They are the $1 notebooks from Michael's. I added the matching flowers, mini pens, and embellished them with ribbons. I thought for the price, they turned out very cute.

Family Time
Its a Girl

My neighbor has a friend who is a new gramma, she is also a Stampin Up Demonstrator; so the pressure was on to make a really cute card for her new 1st grand baby.
The Giraffe is from Great Impressions. I used the Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits to color this (that seems to be my favorite thing these days) on Lovely Lilac CS, the pink is non SU. Giraffe is layered on Certainly Celery and Black CS. To hard to see, but the background is little flowers stamped with Lovely Lilac. Cuttlebug embossing and the flower punch were also included. Added the embellishements...."Its a Girl" ribbon, silver cord, dots and dashes with black and black brads and you have a completed card.
